CMS Community Chorus with Paul Waara

The CMS Community Chorus is a non-auditioned choral ensemble that sings a wide variety of music, including traditional choral music, gospel, pop, Broadway and more. CMS Community Chorus will be taking a trip to the movies this fall, singing songs from many beloved films! All voice parts and singers are welcome!
Ages 16+
Maximum 60 singers. ENSEMBLE FULL. Please keep an eye out for our Spring Session!

Students will participate in a small jazz ensemble, learn to read and understand jazz sheet music, and learn about the fundamentals of jazz. Students will also hone their improvisational skills & work with multiple CMS Faculty members in this hands-on setting.

Designed for advanced players with 2+ years of playing experience, this ensemble continues what students have learned at the intermediate level to expand their jazz knowledge! Students will work with multiple CMS Faculty members in this hands-on setting, learning to read jazz sheet music, improvisation skills, jazz history & hone their ensemble playing skills.
