Members learn to play folk music in a jam setting as they improvise, play by ear & have an all-around good time. Students may join any time during the session.

Students will also hone their improvisational skills & work with multiple CMS Faculty members in this hands-on setting.

The CMS Community Chorus is a non-auditioned choral ensemble that sings a wide variety of music, including traditional choral music, gospel, pop, Broadway and more. The CMS Community Chorus will perform W.A. Mozart’s Missa Brevis in G, or his “Pastoral Mass.” Along with this choral masterwork, the group will sing choral pieces centered around a harvest theme. All voice parts and singers are welcome!

Ages 16+

Open to musicians with 2+ years of singing experience. The CMS Vocal Chamber Choir offers numerous benefits, including improved vocal skills, teamwork, and enhanced musical vocabulary.  With only a few voices per part, it helps to improve your musical ear. Although chamber groups traditionally focus on classical music, the CMS Vocal Chamber Choir will delve into all kinds of repertoire.

Maximum 16 students (only 4 per part).
