Leslie Bahler

Prior to joining CMS, Leslie taught at Buffalo Suzuki Strings for two years. She has maintained a private studio for ten years; was director of the Florida Music Festival, a two-week summer music camp, for seven years; and was co-director of Vivace String Camp for six years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in music education from Temple University in Philadelphia and her master’s in viola performance from West Virginia University. Leslie has performed professionally in orchestras along the East Coast, including the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Palm Beach Symphony, Treasure Coast Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Richmond (Virginia) Symphony, Wheeling (West Virginia) Symphony, West Virginia Symphonette, Erie (Pennsylvania) Philharmonic, Western New York Chamber Orchestra, and Ars Nova Musicians Chamber Orchestra. Leslie is a member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus, and has worked as a substitute violist for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
