Gina Schuster, MT-BC has been a board-certified music therapist since 2012 after receiving her degree from Nazareth University. Gina comes from a background in hospice & palliative care, where she provided music therapy for adults and pediatrics, as well as coordinated wellness initiatives for employees. A Lancaster native and clarinet player, Gina was a proud member of the district’s band ensembles and marching bands. Music has always been an integral part of her life for expression, entertainment, coping, and connection for as long as she can remember. Gina is grateful to be with CMS where the love of music is felt by all!
What drew you to music?
Since I was little I was drawn to music for the way it made me feel, how it made me want to dance, and how it helped me during various times in my life.
What classes do you teach?
I provide music therapy sessions and teach adaptive piano & guitar lessons
What do you love about living in buffalo?
I love the sense of community we all feel as Buffalonians and the beautiful freshwater and nature we have in the area.
What hobbies do you enjoy outside of Community Music School?
I love dancing, being outdoors, and connecting with my people!
